Your main tasks:
- Ensuring the optimal operation of production equipment by coordinating maintenance activities.
- Coordination of the maintenance team and implementation of improvement ideas from proactive reporting.
- Effective task allocation and monitoring of individual and team performance.
- Overseeing team activities to ensure proactive identification and reporting of maintenance issues.
- Ensuring the completion of corrective actions as planned, contributing to the continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
- Implementation and monitoring of the TPM = total productive maintenance methodology
- Coordination of autonomous maintenance activities, by involving the production team in performing basic maintenance tasks.
- Establishing a planned maintenance schedule that reduces the number of failures and increases the mean time between failures (MTBF).
- Collaborating with production teams to identify and implement continuous equipment improvements.
- Planning and implementing preventive maintenance to improve the average time between failures (KPI: MTBF - Mean Time Between Failures).
- Creating and implementing a preventive maintenance program, with the aim of reducing the risk of damage and extending the average time between failures.
- Coordinating regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
- Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement continuous equipment improvement solutions.
- Coordination of rapid interventions in case of failure, with a focus on reducing the average time to repair (KPI: MTTR - Mean Time to Repair).
- Organising and managing repair interventions to minimise downtime.
- Ensuring the availability of spare parts and repair equipment, thereby reducing repair time.
- Monitoring and analyzing repair times to identify ways to optimize and reduce MTTR.
- Developing a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to contribute innovative ideas (KPI: Number of Improvement Ideas):
- Stimulating team initiative to generate and implement ideas to improve maintenance processes.
- Evaluating and documenting the proposed ideas, following their impact on the performance of the equipment and the efficiency of the team.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop innovative solutions that can optimize maintenance and production.
- Ensure compliance with 5S standards for maintenance (KPI: 5S Maintenance Score).
- Monitoring and maintenance of 5S standards for a tidy, clean and safe workspace, reducing the risk of accidents and improving efficiency.
- Conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions to maintain and improve the 5S score.
- Training the team to comply with and apply 5S standards in all maintenance activities.
- Preparation of periodic reports and analysis of team performance:
- Preparing performance reports based on KPIs, including progress in TPM implementation, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
- Proposing corrective measures and preventive actions based on performance reviews.
- Monitoring the level of spare parts stocks, ensuring the constant availability of critical parts for production equipment.
- Working with the purchasing department to order spare parts in a timely manner, avoiding downtime caused by their lack of spare parts.
- Analyze wear and frequency of spare parts replacement to optimize inventory levels and minimize maintenance costs.
- Updating inventory and maintaining an accurate record of spare parts usage as per audit and reporting requirements.
- Collaborating with managers to develop strategies to optimize maintenance processes and achieve set performance targets.
Your ideal profile:
- Higher education degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or production environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven experience managing maintenance operations within an injection molding automotive manufacturing environment.
- Strong maintenance management expertise.
- Solid technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance technologies and systems, equipment diagnostics and repair, and applicable safety regulations and standards.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability and analytical thinking.
- Fluent English language skills.
