Job Overview
As a Quality & Reliability Technician IV, you will play a key role in ensuring TE Connectivity products meet quality, reliability, and customer requirements. You will perform product testing, maintain test equipment, support quality investigations, and work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Product Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform testing on relays, contactors, and other qualified products.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical testing according to established procedures.
- Complete routine quality control (QC), product qualification (PQ), and reliability testing.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report test results.
- Identify and document product or process defects through non-conformance reports.
Equipment Management
- Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate complex testing equipment.
- Work safely with high-voltage and high-current test systems.
- Calibrate quality control equipment before use without supervision.
Quality Improvement & Problem Solving
- Investigate quality issues and help identify root causes.
- Support corrective action and 8D problem-solving activities.
- Assist with scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Lean manufacturing and TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) activities, including Kaizen events.
Documentation & Compliance
- Read and interpret technical documents, including:
- Manufacturing specifications
- Product drawings
- Test procedures and reports
- Ensure all activities comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Team Support & Communication
- Manage daily workload based on production priorities.
- Provide coverage for key Quality team activities when needed.
- Participate in shift handovers, quality meetings, and operational review meetings.
- Prepare and share quality data with operations and engineering teams.
- Deliver quality-related training when required.
- Communicate findings and support customer-facing quality activities.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Follow all site Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
- Work safely and help maintain a compliant and safe working environment.
Hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm for the 1st shift and 3 pm to 11:30 pm for the 2nd shift Monday to Friday with overtime as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality laboratory.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing Quality or Engineering role.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $51,100 – $76,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
