TE Connectivity is looking for a skilled Manufacturing and Process Technician in our Rt. 230 manufacturing facility in Mount Joy, PA.  This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering team in Mount Joy, PA.  This individual will have experience in solving process and equipment problems in the manufacture of connectors, harnesses, and aerospace components.


  • Support engineering and production by diagnosing and solving technical problems on multiple production lines.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and process issues and implement their solutions.
  • Add new parts to an existing process by suggesting tooling changes, performing basic programming, and updating work instructions.
  • Train, monitor, audit and provide guidance to operators.
  • Perform high level machine maintenance and backups
  • Collaborate between quality, engineering, and production during new part builds.
  • Support the resolution of quality issues.
  • Support scrap reduction, rate improvement, and cost reduction projects.
  • Complete process/product development projects including sample runs.
  • Support capital equipment projects by specifying and implementing new manufacturing equipment/techniques.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, while working with a sense of urgency.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities and react quickly to changing priorities with flexibility and willingness.

What your background should look like:



  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment involving connectors, harnesses, and aerospace components.
  • Experience setting up, troubleshooting, maintaining equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience reading prints and GD&T.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to teach and train operators



  • Experience with Creo Parametric and 3D printing. 
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing. 
  • Knowledge of wire processing techniques including soldering.
  • Experience programming and operating electrical test equipment.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
