Job Overview

The Supply Chain Manager II is responsible for plant-level planning and execution to ensure material availability, production alignment, inventory control, and logistics performance in support of customer demand. The role translates demand and supply plans into executable schedules, leads disciplined Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), and drives cross-functional alignment to achieve delivery, inventory, and billing objectives.

The position has site-level responsibility at the Mt. Joy, PA plant, with scope covering demand and supply planning execution, master production scheduling, inventory and materials management, warehousing, line replenishment, shipping, and receiving.

Key Responsobilities

  • Planning, Scheduling & Capacity Management

    • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure demand and IBP supply plans are translated into an executable Master Production Schedule (MPS) in SAP
    • Lead and govern the monthly Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) process to validate capacity feasibility and surface constraints
    • Direct cross-functional teams to identify capacity, material, and resource gaps and drive mitigation actions
    • Chair plant load and scheduling meetings to align production priorities, capacity, and material availability

     

    Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE)

    • Lead plant-level Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) through daily execution routines and tiered operating meetings
    • Ensure alignment between SAP MRP signals, shop-floor schedules, and customer delivery priorities
    • Drive accountability for execution gaps and corrective actions to maintain delivery performance and plan stability

     

    Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) – Supply Review

    • Own and lead the plant-level Supply Review as part of the monthly SIOP cycle
    • Ensure IBP supply plans are validated against plant capacity, material availability, and inventory constraints
    • Lead identification of risks, gaps, and mitigation actions and ensure alignment between planning outputs and execution capability

     

    Backlog, Billing & Performance Management

    • Lead backlog analysis to assess delivery risk, recovery opportunities, and prioritization needs
    • Challenge planning and execution assumptions to ensure backlog commitments are supported by executable plans
    • Provide leadership to align production output, backlog, and billing targets
    • Drive corrective actions to resolve disconnects between plans, execution, and billing results

     

    Inventory & Materials Management Leadership

    • Own plant-level inventory performance, including inventory health, turns, and excess/obsolete exposure
    • Ensure disciplined execution of inventory accuracy, physical inventory, and cycle counting processes

     

    Systems & Data Governance

    • Ensure disciplined use of SAP S/4HANA and MRP planning and execution processes
    • Review supply chain KPIs and ensure corrective actions are defined and executed
    • Support continued maturity of IBP and SAP planning and execution integration

     

    Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead and develop a high-performing plant supply chain team through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability
    • Coordinate priorities across Planning, Operations, Materials, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
    • Partner with Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to align commitments, targets, and performance outcomes
    • Communicate priorities, risks, and performance through established operating forums

     

    Continuous Improvement & Process Maturity

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned to TE Operating Advantage
    • Strengthening SIOP and S&OE process maturity, governance, and execution discipline
    • Improve schedule adherence, plan stability, and operational predictability

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of Supply Chain / Materials Planning experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with high mix, low volume manufacturing.
  • Good communication skills, able to build customer relations and win customers for their own ideas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, process improvement & decision-making skills.
  • Ability to drive Projects End to End, with a track record of achieving results and abilities to drive effective change management
  • Proficiency in Warehousing / Transport - Material Management – Demand / Supply Planning - Purchasing - Manufacturing Planning
  • Strong Analytical & continuous improvement Skills (problem solver) as well as a good understanding of data analytics capabilities
  • Knowledge of SAP, IBP or equivalent planning tools a plus
  • Strong people & organizational leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to influence and convince
  • Ability to prioritize very well and maintain appropriate balance in a fast-paced, heavy-workload environment
  • Travel:  up to 10%

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,800 - $156,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
