Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain personnel are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Requirements

  • Pick materials for customer and production orders
  • Facilitate delivery of factory orders to production areas
  • Put away materials coming from receiving and production areas
  • Cycle count plant storage locations as required
  • Assist in packaging area as needed
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping as required for each task
  • Safely operate order picker and other warehouse equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

What your background should look like

  • Computer skills – Ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Email.  Knowledge of ERP computer systems used to process deliveries (SAP experience is preferred)
  • Detail oriented – quickly and accurately distinguishes part numbers, batch numbers and quantities
  • Lifting ability – able to lift 35 lbs regularly.
  • 5S skills – maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • Hours – Monday to Friday 9a-530p.  Able to work flexible hours and overtime if needed
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good Attendance record mandatory
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years experience in warehousing or manufacturing environment

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $39,900 - $49,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
