We’re looking for a Product Sustaining Engineer II to support and optimize our existing product lines. In this role, you’ll manage engineering changes, drive cost-reduction initiatives, solve complex quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products continue to meet the highest standards.
What You’ll Do
- Manage engineering and product change processes to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality.
- Troubleshoot product issues and lead root cause analyses to resolve design, manufacturing, and customer concerns.
- Partner with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Sales to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Maintain and improve product specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to share insights and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in product engineering, sustaining engineering, or a similar role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools for product design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering change processes and product lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with product qualification testing and reviewing FAIs (First Article Inspections).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Experience conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Sales teams.
- Quality & Compliance: Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards preferred.
- Customer Focus: Ability to engage directly with customers and ensure solutions meet technical and quality requirements.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $86,100 – $129,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
