Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers II are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning of production materials, and logistics operations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. Identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain. Focuses on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the improvement of key performance metrics.

The scope of the Supply Chain Manager position in Mt Joy, PA includes demand management, supply planning and supplier management, warehousing, line replenishment, shipping, and receiving.

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of Supply Chain / Materials Planning experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. 
•    Experience with high mix, low volume manufacturing.
•    Good communication skills, able to build customer relations and win customers for their own ideas.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•    Process Improvement.
•    Ability to drive Projects End to End, with a track record of achieving results and abilities to drive effective change management 
•    Proficiency in Warehousing / Transport - Material Management – Demand / Supply Planning & SNOP  –Purchasing– Manufacturing Planning 
•    Strong Analytical & continuous improvement Skills (problem solver) as well as a good understanding of data analytics capabilities
•    Knowledge of SAP, IBP or equivalent planning tools a plus (S/4 Hanna / ERP Migrations)
•    Strong people & organizational leadership skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to influence and convince
•    Ability to prioritize very well and maintain appropriate balance in a fast-paced, heavy-workload environment
•    Travel:  up to 10%
