Job Overview

TE Connectivity seeks passionate, results-oriented Integrated Supply Chain Product Line Manager. The Supply Chain Product Line Manager will have end 2 end responsibility of the performance of the product line in terms of delivery, inventory, service level, freight & distribution costs & Forecast Accuracy. The Job can be posted at any EMEA Automotive site (preferrably Montcada, Kurim, Tangier, Speyer, Bensheim, Woert or Eztergom)

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

  • Drive key strategic decisions based on prepared analysis and models
  • Responsibility for Service Level Segmentation of the Product Line and implementation
  • Lead the actions to optimize customer shipments based on identified biggest opportunities
  • Improve customer demand and internal forecast fluctuation
  • Define and implement required inventory structure in order to improve performance
  • Define and implement required supply solutions with critical suppliers
  • Lead the actions in order to fulfill the customer requirements regarding delivery performance
  • Lead the actions regarding capacity bottlenecks improvements
  • Together with Warehouse and Transportation improve the delivery and costs performance
  • Drive the actions to improve financial results
  • Track the realized savings and impacts, and communicate results with leaders
  • Provide S&OP Long Term FCst guidance
  • Travel to affected TE sites and Supplier on a regular base to ensure close tracking and action implementation
  • Ensure max Forecast Accuracy and coordinate between Sales, PM, CS, CSC and Customers
  • Customer Long Term FCst validation and comparison w market and demand trends
  • Ensure FCst visible on FG level intern & extern – collaborate with Procurement and S&OP accordingly
  • Ensure FCst is visible on component level intern & extern – collaborate with Procurement and S&OP accordingly
  • Identify capacity constraints with planning, S&OP, Procurement and Ops and ensure according actions are taken
  • Ensure capacity actions are taken and threshholds are met
  • Review OEE and work with Ops on needed improvements
  • Ensure Supplier contracts support the needed performance level and liability
  • Control Customer demand fluctuations and take needed actions external and internal
  • Drive STR improvement actions
  • Control Premium Freight and initiate actions to protect and avoid 
  • Drive Inventory strategy for the Product Line to secure STR and Cost

What your background should look like:

  • Masters degree, preferably in logistics/supply chain or Project Management
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Operations, preferably in Supply Chain related functions
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Proven project management experience
  • Track record in managing cross-functional teams and driving transformation on an international scale
  • Experience in international environment and automotive sector is an advantage
  • Know-how in Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance related fields
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Conceptual and problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach (80/20)
  • Leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong system knowledge of Supply Chain related systems
  • Good communication skills, able to train people on new processes 
  • Solid in German and English, both written and spoke
