Strategic Sourcing Analyst IV (Remote)

Job Overview


As the Strategic Sourcing Analyst IV, you will be responsible for development and ownership of commodity strategy, supply base development and management. Preparing RFQ packages, negotiating pricing and terms, and making data driven sourcing decisions.  Drive cost savings and optimization of supply base.

SSA also responsible to represent procurement with cross functional teams such as engineering, finance, quality, and operations.




  • Accountable to achieve objectives/targets regarding Supplier Quality, Delivery and Material Productivity
  • Builds strong relationships with strategic suppliers to optimize performance
  • Develops, executes, commodity strategies ensuring alignment with plant and BU objectives
  • Leads and executes the Sourcing Steps
  • Clears the path to issues related with supply disruptions
  • Ensures and promotes adherence to global processes, policies, procedures, best practices within TE and extensive to supply base
  • Manages data Integrity in SAP
  • Cost analysis

What your background should look like:


  • 3-5 years’ Experience in field
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of ERP systems as applicable to planning & purchasing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management basic knowledge – experience is a plus
  • Negotiation and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advance use of MS office application mainly focus in Excel
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of financial costing of product

Location and Travel


Position can be based anywhere in the US, preferably in / near a major metro city where a TE site is based.


Travel is up to 25% domestic and international

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $93,000 - $120,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
