We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Logistics Execution (LE) Analyst, who desires the opportunity to be part of an exciting global network of SAP professionals optimizing carrier and transportation processes within our fulfillment organization. The applicant should have a minimum of 7 years working on fulfillment and transportation tools that interface with ERP systems, ideally SAP. TE Connectivity’s ERP Systems Teams conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Baan, PeopleSoft) across functional areas. They perform evaluation of systems specifications and use the latest analytical/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. TE's ERP Systems Teams also develop conversion and system implementation plans, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards, coordinate system upgrade activity and train user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.
Duties:
•    Implement and support best practice Transportation Management (TM) processes across TE business units and functional domains.
•    Able to successfully solve complex business problems related to systems integrations with freight carriers, shipment carrier selection, optimization of freight costs, and the processing of shipments by warehouse personnel & deploy related solutions within the business units. 
•    Take ownership of transportation and carrier related service issues with a managed services partner and guide them through to successful conclusion; putting service improvement plans in place where required; monitoring and reporting progress against these plans regularly.
•    Ensure quality, velocity, and integration of fulfillment-related projects are delivering realized value, positive return on investment and excellent customer experience for business users. 
•    Constructively challenge the segment to refine its global processes in the transportation area to drive growth, improve profitability, and sustain advantage.
•    Champion the use of strategic carrier management solutions and technologies as a business asset.  Creating and scaling associated processes, decisions, and culture across business team.
•    Meet with business & IT leaders to discuss and document system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines
•    Eagerness to “get one’s hands dirty” learning, implementing, configuring and operating computer software SAP WM, SAP eWM, and additional connected “bolt-on” applications that pertain to transportation and carrier management.  

What your background should look like:

•    7 years of experience in an SAP LE environment with experience working with connected 3rd party bolt-on applications like BY TM(Transportation Management)
•    Knowledge of SAP TM (Transportation Management), SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network) and SCT XPS is a big plus, as TE is moving to those platforms.
•    Strong willingness to operate in a global IT organization, closely related with the business.
•    Self starter and solution oriented
•    Excellent communications skills at various levels
•    Experience with working with an offshore development organization in the background.
•    Strong technical foundation. Technical experience with the following technologies is a big plus - Solaris/Unix scripting, Oracle / PLSQL, XML, Java, .NET, ABAP. Ability to study problems and suggest solutions in these areas.
•    Understanding of and experience successfully implementing SAP WM or EWM is a plus.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Strong organization and project planning skills with experience taking projects through their full lifecycle.
•    Strong business acumen and ability to quantify both potential and realized business value impact.
•    Ability to work across an organization, share success, and build a culture that embraces change and growth
•    English as a first or second language, sufficient for telephone consulting, email, training, and documentation. Primary business communication language is English.
•    Willingness to travel 5-10%
