SUPPLY CHAIN IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

This Supply Chain Project Manager position is a critical & exciting role within the Appliances Business Unit.  The projects under the responsibility of this leader will span across the Appliances global supply chain with a focus on identification and implementation of technology solutions to drive improved supply chain planning and product flow as well as lead a variety of supply chain related projects to support business growth and drive an improved customer experience.

The responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
•    IBP SC Lead for Implementation and Training for Demand and Supply across APL Mfg Sites
•    SC Lead for Finite Planning Implementation across APL manufacturing sites
•    Supply Chain Support for Migration Projects 
•    Partner with the APL manufacturing sites to support rough cut capacity planning reviews
•    General Supply Chain Projects to support improved customer experience KPI’s such as leadtime  reduction and Ship to Request Improvement
•    General Materials Planning Support to Global team

What your background should look like:

Required Skills:
•    SAP Experience and Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems
•    Experience in strategy, development, implementation and use of ERP systems
•    Experience in prior product migrations a plus
•    Strong analytical & Communication Skills
•    Strong business Acumen
•    Ability to work across the organization and build an environment of change and growth
•    Ability to collaborate across many disciplines and BU’s; a Team Builder

Experience and Qualifications:
•    Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Processes
•    Experience with ERP Systems (Ideally SAP) 
•    Experience with SAP IBP Systems would be beneficial
•    Proficient in English language
•    Ability to present and interact with all levels of the business
