Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, optimizing product flow, and enhancing productivity and efficiency across our manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities: 
- Analyze and improve manufacturing systems using industrial engineering principles to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Head the implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process optimization.
- Design and optimize product flow layouts to ensure efficient material movement and minimal bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and efficiency through data-supported action plans.
- Support new product introductions by designing scalable and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
- Utilize simulation tools and modeling techniques to validate process changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Strong understanding of design for product flow and factory layout optimization.
- Proficiency in productivity analysis and efficiency improvement tools.
- Experience with SAP ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and smart manufacturing practices.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $124,000 - $165,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
