Role Overview
As a Senior PLM Process Architect, you will be a point person for crafting product lifecycle solutions that enable TE business growth through an innovative, efficient, and well-connected technical workforce.  By combining highly functional and integrated PLM systems with the adoption of new digital processes, your solutions will target advantages in speed-to-market and innovation delivered under TE’s NPI and sustaining engineering practices. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, technical leadership, along with a strong process improvement mindset.  In this position, you will be aligning business strategies and functional capabilities with PLM processes, data, and system architectures.  The successful candidate will collaborate with others in a matrixed and dynamic environment, lead through influence, and execute with pace to champion change. 

Key Responsibilities as a lead architect:
•    Communicate with all levels of Business Unit and IT Management on a variety of engineering related process and system capabilities. 
•    Responsible for translating business strategies and capabilities into future state engineering processes with supporting PLM architectures, including enterprise data flows. 
•    Engage with TE’s global engineering community to prepare capability and process assessments with recommended improvement roadmaps. 
•    Track PLM software industry best practices and software vendor offerings.  Influence TE software partners so that their product roadmaps address TE’s emerging PLM capability needs.
•    Translate TE’s data security policies and requirements into effective practices and controls within the PLM ecosystem.  
•    Provide leadership, mentorship, and governance on architecture matters to the broader engineering IT systems team and represent Engineering systems and architecture in TE’s enterprise architecture governance review.

Success in the role requires not only a strong PLM domain expertise but also business acumen and strategic mindset, exceptional English communication skills, and a strong capability to link the strategy with the right process and architectural model is essential. The successful candidate will have a keen ability to seek the ideas of multiple individuals in the organization and help facilitate the best path forward. In addition, successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

•    Domain expertise and a track record of successful enterprise product lifecycle management implementations.  Preferred PLM platform experience with PTC Windchill
•    5 years of experience providing PLM process and system architectural designs and documentation including:
•    Design data management (2D/3D documentation, BOM, Engineering Change)
•    Master data management (part)
•    Systems Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Software)
•    Product regulatory compliance
•    Integration to ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
•    Security and Export Controls
•    Past work experience as a product design engineer and a user/administrator of PLM systems
•    Demonstrated success in cross function collaboration and working with a global community

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,700-$183,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
•    A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.
