Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Sales & Marketing Support Teams assist with implementing sales/marketing initiatives by providing technical and/or product information support (i.e., data analysis, tracking, etc.). They are also responsible for planning and coordinating promotional programs and other communications initiatives.

•    Provides analytics, partnership, and process leadership to the sales organization.
•    Collaborate with Sales Leadership on the sales strategy and implement into the sales regions.
•    Develops and drives best practices and programs to improve the overall sales effectiveness and business results.
•    Develops key performance metrics and dashboards that drive the performance of the sales team, including opportunity pipeline, revenue growth, and overall business results.
•    Develops and lead tools and training for the sales organization to ensure deep product and application knowledge of products and customer needs.
•    Lead the implementation and enhancement of Salesforce.com. Creates global standardization for reporting for sales leadership, team and BU leadership. Maintains accurate order and sales standard reporting
•    Interacts regularly with business leadership, balancing a drive for accountability to plans/projects and the maintenance of effective business relationships
•    Collaborates across functional areas (TEIS, Marketing, and Product Management) to execute on go-to-market strategy.
•    Designs, implements, and supports sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.  Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization.
•    Collaborate with sales leader to measure sales performance, implements comprehensive monthly forecasting process by customer/ region/ GPL and performs ad-hoc analysis to ensure sound decision-making.

What your background should look like:

•    10+ years’ experience in Sales environment and operations roles preferably within a technology/connector company
•    A. or B.S. required (Finance preferred), MBA strongly desired
•    Demonstrate a strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
•    Proven ability to work collaboratively with other executives, functional leaders, and executives in a complex, global business environment
•    Continuous improvement attitude; ability to develop and implement best practices
•    Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
•    Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
•    Experience utilizing predictive analytics team to anticipate changes in customer and product requirements
•    Proven experience and examples of building and running a complex Operating Plan
•    Demonstrable experience in building “Market Analytics” to support executive decision making – TAM, PAM, SAM, Share analysis, etc.) with “Executive Summaries and recommended actions”
•    Experience overseeingthe development of enterprise capabilities addressing advanced analytics for a multi-channel, wholesale business including the operation of advanced analytics platforms and master data management that enable fact-based decision making, ad-hoc analysis, and insight generation
•    Extensive experience with Salesforce.com and associated back-end systems and proven influence of operational best practices for the Salesforce platform. Work closely with business customers (Sales, Product, Marketing, Community, Operations, and Support) to ensure alignment with technology decisions as it relates to Salesforce
•    Proven experience training sales staff and act as the company's sales operations expert
•    Continuous improvement attitude; ability to develop and implement best practices
•    Self-starter with unquestionable integrity
•    Strong and clear communication skills
•    Ability to work globally and non-traditional hours.
•    Travel (global and domestic) could exceed 50%.
