Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

Job Overview
This position serves as the business partner of Appliances Global Product Management leaders. The main duties include (but not limit) working closely with product managers on business decisions and providing key analysis around product line profitability. This position is based in Harrisburg, PA.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide monthly product line P&L by working with operation Finance team and FP&A team Provide depth analysis by product on monthly/quarter review
  • Go over the product line P&L with each Product General Manager (PGM). Recommend adjustments and corrections as necessary to bring actual performance and results in line with expectations.
  • Drive financial and cost consciousness in business activities, help business partner to identify the core business and growth area 
  • Review slow moving inventory with PGM and constantly reduce the financial impact
  • Analyze low margin product for business to make better business decision on investment allocations
  • Improve the quotation procedure and provide quote for each project
  • Advice and support business review processes (PAC) to facilitate key investment decisions.
  • Forecast & track capital expenditure for the business instituting robust forecasting processes
  • Deal with ad hoc requests from PGM on product line financial issues

  • Salary Range: $126,200-$189,200 

What your background should look like:

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in MNC
  • Approximately 5-10 years of business experience in Operational finance 

 

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of cost accounting, cost analysis and reporting matters
  • Understanding of financial driver and relations within a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of US GAAP
  • ERP system knowledge, SAP experience is preferred

 

Education:

  • Bachelors in Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Master/MBA preferred
