Job Overview 
As a Product Engineer, you'll work with a global team to design cost-effective, high-quality products that meet customer needs.
⦁    Help test products through simulations, prototypes, and final qualification tests, and support troubleshooting when needed
⦁    Contribute to continuous improvement using digital tools and TEOA methods
⦁    Join technical reviews and project updates to support decision-making
⦁    Collaborate with global manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers to meet quality and cost goals
⦁    Assist in building prototypes and documenting product specs
⦁    Support engineering tasks and team members as needed
⦁    Key skills: accountability, execution, future planning, diversity & inclusion, teamwork, and coaching
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you: 
⦁    Have a high school diploma or GED
⦁    Are pursuing a BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering (or have equivalent experience; gap year students welcome)
⦁    Understand manufacturing processes like molding, stamping, plating, and assembly
⦁    Know materials, finishes, and how electrical connections work
⦁    Are familiar with wire termination methods like crimping, soldering, or welding
⦁    Have some experience with simulation tools (like Ansys) and rapid prototyping
⦁    Can follow testing guidelines for product qualification
⦁    Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with teams around the world
⦁    Are organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects independently
⦁    Have U.S. work authorization
⦁    Bonus: prior internship experience or a major project completed

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $70,300 – 105,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
