At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.

Job Overview

Are you interested in continuing to advance your technical capabilities and leadership skills at an accelerated rate?  Are you seeking broad exposure to engineering challenges and the opportunity to quickly develop a wide professional network at all levels within an organization?  TE Connectivity’s Aerospace, Defense and Marine (ADM) Business Unit is recruiting for its Product Development Engineering Rotation program. The Rotation Program is a two-year program that provides young professionals with the opportunity to be part of multiple project-driven assignments in various organizations in areas such as Product Development, Product/Sustaining Engineering, and Manufacturing/Process Development.  Woven into the two years is a robust technical and leadership curriculum that is accomplished through hands-on practice, training courses and other informational sessions.  The sessions include exposure to a variety of other functions such as Quality, Procurement, Product Mgmt and Project Mgmt. Additionally, rotation engineers will gain experience in the Product Lifecycle, from concept creation to development of product that are stamped, injection-molded, screw-machined, die-cast, plated and/or assembled using a variety of processes.  Investing these two years in the development of engineering talent builds a strong foundation upon which to continue building a promising career with TE.

At the conclusion of the two-year program, the successful candidate will move into a permanent engineering position in the ADM Integrated Systems Group (ISG).  The ISG Team develops electrical interconnect technologies to survive the demanding requirements of next generation aircraft, space and satellite systems.  More specifically, the ISG team designs and develops solutions that include products such as connectors, cable harnesses, cable and cable management solutions. In this position, the engineer will be an integral part of the entire product development lifecycle, from creating innovative concepts through to volume manufacturing.  In addition to developing new product platforms, the engineer will support modifications, product extensions and product derivatives for new applications.  This is a highly collaborative environment in which the engineer will be working closely with the business office and sales teams to support customer demands for assigned product lines, offering technical assistance to both internal and external customers.
