Job Overview

AD&M is seeking a Product Pricing Analyst who is responsible for providing price management leadership and product pricing strategy development for assigned global product families and global product lines within the business unit. This includes global market, competitor analysis and price targeting/positioning to improve key financial factors. In addition, analysing the profit of potential markets, and supporting Product Management in the recommendation of price structures and price levels for new and existing products per assigned global product lines are key objectives of this role.  The Product Pricing Analyst reports directly to the Product Pricing Manager of the AD&M business unit.

 

**THIS IS A HYBRID OPPORTUNITY**

 

Key Tasks:   

  • Process RFQs and purchase orders using the Global Price Management System (GPMS), Request Tracking System (RTS) and SAP system.  
  • Review and process special price requests (SPRs) in GPMS
  • Make recommendations regarding business unit price structures and tactics for existing & new products and verify that pricing decisions support overall business unit objectives.
  • Work closely with Product Management to provide analytical support and analysis in making recommendations for price adjustments & changes, product life cycle adjustments, product segmentation and cost inflation
  • Review low margin products and identify price and margin opportunities to improve customer and global product line profitability. Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business unit initiatives as required
  • Recommend and implement bi-annual book price adjustments when recommending published book pricing. Review discount and column structure for utilization and validation
  • Provide pricing guidance and support to Agreement Pricing Analyst for assigned global product lines

  • Reduction of Price and Margin Decrease for assigned Product Lines
  • Completion of book price amendments processes of selected product lines
  • Published Book Price Utilization
  • Achievement of Revenue & Margin targets as a function of price actions and strategies
  • Year over Year Price Realization or Margin $ Improvement from price actions and strategies

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and strong ability to build relationships and credibility quickly across functions and levels within the business unit
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What your background should look like:

  • Due to ITAR regulations, current US citizenship or US lawful permanent residency (green card) is required to apply for this position. 
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics
  • 2-5 Years of applicable experience
  • Pricing experience preferable
  • Self-motivated, ability to proactively drive business improvements
  • Able to work with global cross-functional team efforts focused on process implementation & execution
  • Strong PC abilities; Knowledge of MS Office and Excel for spreadsheet applications is required
  • Travel  up to 20% to customer sites and trade shows

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $63,900- $95,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
