Job Overview
This role is a Product Manager II within the Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS) team, based in Middletown,PA. The position has Americas regional responsibility for a portion of the EPS portfolio and includes 10–25% travel, primarily within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
EPS sits at the heart of TE Connectivity’s most demanding aerospace, defense, and harsh-environment applications. Our products—ranging from heat-shrink tubing, molded parts, and adhesives to integrated harness protection solutions—are trusted where failure is not an option.
This portfolio supports platforms operating in extreme temperatures, vibration, fluids, and confined environments, across commercial aerospace, defense, space, and advanced mobility programs. Many products have long service lives and deep customer qualification requirements, making technical rigor, change discipline, and customer trust critical to success.
As a Product Manager in EPS, you won’t just manage SKUs—you’ll shape the future of a portfolio that:
- Directly enables mission-critical systems where reliability, safety, and compliance matter every day
- Balances legacy platforms and next-generation programs, requiring thoughtful lifecycle and roadmap decisions
- Involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and customers to manage materials, performance tradeos, and long-term supply continuity
- Offers real business ownership, with responsibility for strategy, profitability, and execution—not just analysis

What You’ll Do
You will own and drive the success of your assigned EPS product portfolio, balancing growth, profitability, and operational execution. This role requires strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing.
Market Sensing & Strategy (30%)
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, demand drivers, and competitive dynamics
- Partner with global product teams to shape product and go-to-market strategies
- Support product lifecycle management, including portfolio optimization decisions
Business Planning & Financial Ownership (25%)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve sales, technology, operational, and financial objectives
- Execute pricing strategies in alignment with lead Product Managers
- Support development of the annual product line plan and long-range outlook
Execution: Product Sustainment & New Product Launch (45%)
- Initiate and support new product development projects, ensuring targets for quality, cost, and timing are met
- Support product launches through customer engagement, samples, and sales enablement
- Provide demand forecasts to the S&OP process and support capacity planning
- Perform pricing, cost, and margin analysis to support forecast accuracy and profitability
- Respond to customer RFQs, sample requests, and support analysis of excess and obsolete inventory
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical or engineering background preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Pricing, or Project Management
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing or manufacturing engineering is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $82,000 - $123,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
