Manages the buying strategies and supplier negotiations, monitors and implements strategies related to supplier relationships.
Job Requirements
- Creating a supplier sourcing strategy to align with the product portfolio and the roadmap strategy and driving the attainment of relevant key performance indicators.
- Managing the supplier performance, monitoring the supplier classification, driving new supplier development, and continuous cost improvement with appropriate tools.
- Identifying supplier risks, mitigating them, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to support the negotiation strategies, and recommending best practices.
- Monitoring the risk assessments for new and old suppliers, reviewing and planning capabilities of the suppliers to avoid constraints and shortages.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $105,000 - $120,000/Year (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Job Title: MGR I STRATEGIC SOURCING
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
The Role will report to the Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing Indirect Procurement. It will provide functional leadership for all Human Resources Services procurement regionally, as well as developing, managing, and transitioning all supplier relationships.
The role requires ability to develop strategy and drive execution across Corporate HR functional teams and ten TE Business Units (BU). The ideal candidate will lead a global team that executes the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; will also implement and maintain key HR Services programs in collaboration with strategic suppliers and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have desire and drive for upward mobility and exhibit the required values, performance, and behaviors to enable such.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop & implement the 3 - 5-years Americas HR Services commodity strategy - in accordance with the Global, Regional and Local needs and in alignment with key stakeholder service procurement initiatives.
- Drives high visibility commodity cost savings initiatives such as temp labor MSP, Fleet Management, etc.
- Responsible for procurement KPI in Americas region for HR Services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Collaborate with regional peers in EMIA and APAC to ensure organizational objectives are met.
- Perform market analysis to monitor current / future trends within the assigned commodity (new players, new technologies, alternative RM etc.)
- Build and utilize communications channels with Functional and Business Unit (BU) leadership to assure performance needs / service level requirements are met
- Develop and implement plans and procedures for the efficient use of resources.
- Closely collaborate with BPO to execute strategy plans, accomplish savings and day-to-day procurement activities.
- Collaboration with Indirect Procurement Commodity Directors and Regional Leads as needed. Other Indirect Commodities are Facilities Management, Capital Equipment, Spares and Supplies, MRO, Corporate Services, IT Services and Tooling.
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 5 years of relatable Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or Logistics experience, with at least 2 years of leading related teams in a global structure.
- Strong strategic thinking skills required.

- Ability to prioritize manage complexity in a fast-paced or uncertain environment.
