Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
TE Connectivity’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They provide integral support including accurate and timely business decision support through financial analysis, detailed reporting and modeling, internal forecasting, and strategic planning.
The Manager FP&A is a highly visible role reporting to the Director FP&A responsible for driving improved financial forecasting and operational performance. This role partners with business and functional management teams to develop robust analytics and reporting processes to ensure efficient and accurate financial consolidation, analysis and reporting of global results. Key objectives include coordinating and driving the monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning process while providing proactive analytics and insight to our senior management.
Role responsibilities:
• Direct coordination of the quarterly commitment forecast process, including Earnings Release deck preparation and Hyperion consolidation/reconciliation and all required Segment and Corporate submissions
• Oversight of the monthly financial closing & reporting process ensuring timely and accurate financials while maintaining controls and consistency across regions, functions and sites.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities through variance and bridge analysis with clear and concise articulation of actionable recommendations
• Business partnership and development of actionable analysis of business performance drivers in support of Sensor’s leadership team
• Manage Sensor’s Finance Technology Strategy including data management and contro
