Job Overview

As part of HR’s journey to enable growth through a closer partnership between HR and the TE Business, the HR Organizational Readiness & Change Management Specialist ensures that HR’s Solutions are aligned with TE business priorities and that these solutions deliver exceptional value for TE. 


Focused on the people side of change, this individual will be accountable to build and execute integrated change management approaches ensuring key stakeholders are prepared and ready for initiatives and changes within the HR Function.   This individual will have a strong focus on the customer, designing and executing plans from the end users/employee’s perspective. The position requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and outstanding communications skills. This individual will work across the HR Innovation Centers, HR Solutions and Business/Function HR to accomplish their objectives.  He/she must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ‘connect the dots.’

Specific Job Functions Include:
  • Change Management – Create and execute sustainable org. readiness & change management plans, including conducting readiness assessments, collecting voice of the customer, stakeholder analysis, risk planning/mitigation, training and communications, sponsorship plans
    • Partner with HR teams in the Total Rewards, Talent Management, & HR Solutions spaces to design and execute change management plans aligned with project plans to drive awareness and adoption of new and existing programs, processes and tools.
  • Communications and Education
    • Facilitate integrated communication strategies with clear key messages that provide timely and consistent communication on HR programs, services and strategic initiatives for various TE audiences, including both global HR and the business. 
    • Play an active role in working with vendor for global translations
  • Strategic Planning
    • Support strategic planning aligned to the HR Top Priorities and governance structure, working with the HR PMO
    • Advise HR Top Priority, global initiatives, and annual processes on timing of deliverables and organization’s ability to handle changes
  • Infrastructure
    • Support monthly HR Organizational Readiness calls and provide support on various webcasts throughout the function
    • Responsible for maintaining HR Information Center (HRIC), ensuring information is updated & relevant
    • Ensure portal content (myHR) is aligned & updated as new project and initiatives occur
  • Support various HR initiatives, as needed
What your background should look like:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development or related field
  • 5 years’ experience (HRBP, COE or HR Solutions) with at least 2+ years managing multiple large-scale global initiatives
  • Experience in change management methodology and practice/execution
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodology
  • Experience working with senior business and functional leaders
  • Exceptional writing skills, adept at both originating materials and editing the work of others
  • Strategic, critical reasoning and demonstrated ability to think in an enterprise-wide global mindset
  • Ability to present / interact crisply and fluently
  • Digitally savvy: technology interest and aptitude, social media aptitude, current awareness, understanding, and (ideally) expertise with latest digital platforms used for business and social communication
  • Self-directed with high-level of initiative and strong work ethic
  • Detail and results oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work across functional and geographical boundaries with ease
