Job Responsibilities:
The Application Tooling Division of TE Connectivity is currently seeking Assembly Operator II candidates to join our Hand Tool Assembly team.
Our Assembly Operators support our Hand Tool Value Stream by assembling our various hand tool product lines. This position is located at our Waynesboro, PA facility.

Desired Candidate Profile:
This position is located at our Fulling mill Road, PA facility and open to fully qualified current employees of the TE Application Tooling facility in Waynesboro and highly qualified external candidates.
Employees with active disciplines (documented verbal warning within the last 6 months; 1st written or above in last 12 months), on a current Performance Improvement Plan, or who have voluntarily moved to another role/shift within the last 6 months will not be considered for this role.
Core hours for 1st Shift:
Mon – Thur 6:00am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing assembly of basic and complex hand tools.
- Monitors operational quality of systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem. Documents all inspection, maintenance and repair work as required.
- Assesses product needs in accordance with customer.
- Measures, examines, and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 3-5 years experience in related field (machine operator, assembler, etc.)
- Must have the ability to disassemble and re-assemble various types of mechanical parts and basic understanding of trouble shooting techniques.
- Should have basic understanding of blueprints and experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Requires a mechanical skill sufficient to visualize and assemble equipment utilizing sectional blueprints and be able to condition parts and working mechanism to permit the equipment to produce a product to engineering specification.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $22.00 - $25.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
