Overview

This is an FP&A analyst position providing data analysis support cross regions, and with Commercial and Opex focus at CLS level. This analyst will report to Cecilia Pan, dotted line report to commercial finance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead data visualization and automation projects, pilot AI tools/application on financial reports to facilitate wider adoption
  • Provide analysis and support to commercial decision making and OPEX control, track gap-closing measures and initiatives, to drive sales, margin, and profit
  • Align with business value drivers, support tracking value driver performance by category by region by Direct / Channel, and OPEX spending by functions and by categories
  • Drive Commercial Finance routine reports optimization including bookings / backlog report, weekly sales report, weekly AR report, etc.
  • Consolidate, review, and challenge sales and OPEX forecast, prepare for bridge, improve forecast accuracy
  • Support key business processes, such as monthly RnO, quarterly commit forecast, annual budgeting, and 5Y long-term strategic plan, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Support Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) with report visualization and regular tracker publishing
  • Create systematic solution to review/maintain customer payment term, credit limit, monitor collection and control AR/PD via partnership with Finance Shared Services, Customer Care, and Sales
  • Find opportunity to set up system approach for Amer/EMEA credit memo process
  • Create or maintain OPEX Cost Centers as needed
  • Improve commercial and OPEX compliance including but not limit with DOA, tooling contribution, revenue recognition, T&E, etc. Act the role of DoA champion in American region.
  • Actively involve into TEOA-F projects and drive process improvement, report simplification and automation
  • Support business needs with special projects and ad-hoc requests as necessary

What your background should look like

 

Background and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • Background of working at accounting / finance / business analysis positions in multinational manufacturing companies for no less than 3 years
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g. SAP, HFM, Excel, Power Point, Power BI, TED). Proficiency in Power BI is preferred
  • Results oriented professional who can work well within a competitive global environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to generate trust and respect of business units peers and supervisors
  • Strong, professional and effective oral and written communication skills in English

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $90,000 – 130,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
