Job Overview

The Corporate Technology Integrated Electronics team is seeking a candidate for a Summer internship. This position reports to a Senior Scientist and will be in Middletown, PA

What your background should look like:
  • Fundamental understanding of electronics design, embedded systems, and programming.
  • Experience working on projects in electrical design and/or embedded programming.
  • Have a holistic understanding of electronic modules and systems.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in electrical engineering or computer sciences.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship.


The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

  • PCB schematics, layout design, prototyping
  • Electromagnetic simulations
  • Data science
  • Statistics/optimization, machine learning, deep learning


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting PCB schematic, layout design, prototyping, assembly, and validation.
  • Supporting embedded projects using standard microcontroller and processers using C and Python.
  • Contributing to various phases of building complete modules, including mechanical design, PCB schematic, layout, embedded programming, testing, and reliability.
  • Contributing individually and in a team of electrical, mechanical, materials, and processing engineers on projects catering to different business units.
  • Collaborating with TE engineers from around the world on technical discussions, understanding the customer’s and market needs.
  • Proactively scouting for new technologies and efficient ways to solve existing challenges.
