Customer Service Specialist

Job Overview

This position is the primary contact for internal and external TE Connectivity customers, answering product and service inquiries via numerous communication methods.  Application Tooling Customer Service must be able to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast paced business environment while supporting all business functions within TE Connectivity.  The Representative must display competencies that align with TE Connectivity core values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork and Innovation.


Provide Extraordinary Customer Experience (ECE)

Meet personal / team goals and targets  

Maintain Customer Relationships

Clarify, investigate and resolve customer issues (order quantity, pricing, lead time, tooling, etc.)

Interact with all TE Connectivity business functions to satisfy Customer requirements

Communicate new business opportunities to Sales Team

Analyze and process quotes, orders, product returns, answer Customer calls, prioritize workload  

Proactive communication to the Customer regarding early warning of late deliveries

Support Credit and Collections Team

Coordinate meetings and communicate with internal / external Customers

Open or extend Customer Accounts for purchase of Application Tooling product

Affective problem solving skills

Documentation Retention

Monitor Business Management Tool

Maintain high level of professionalism with internal / external Customers

Good listening / communication / organizational skills

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Outlook
