Job Overview

Our AD&M Contract Analyst plays a vital role in our ability to achieve our goals by building and maintaining strong relationships with our Customers and negotiating the contracts that govern those relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for contract review, negotiation, close-out, extension and renewal, and you will communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders.  You will be responsible for raising and addressing any contract-related issues that come up, whether internally or externally.  We require an individual who is able to partner with a variety of business support functions, including the Law Department, Product Management, Customer Care, Sales, Operations, and Quality. The position reports directly to the AD&M Global Senior Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

•    Review, draft, edit, and negotiate contracts with Customers assuring that the terms align with key business points achieving the best possible outcome for TE
•    Partner with various internal stakeholders including the Law Department, Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Quality and Operations to ensure all appropriate approvals are received prior to execution of a contract
•    Create letters or other documents as they relate to contracts
•    Work with Pricing, Procurement, Finance, and Product Management to compile exhibits for Customer contracts
•    Attend meetings/calls with the Law Department, Product Management, Sales or Procurement teams to identify and address material issues related to proposed agreements and amendments
•    Review contracts to identify any needed changes or trends and escalate findings to management
•    Partner with Sales, Procurement, and Product Management teams to develop and coordinate strategies for individual customers during the contracting process to ensure successful implementation of contracts, amendments and/or pricing updates
•    Demonstrate effective and regular communication on Customer related issues and contract concerns with all stakeholders in the business
•    Review executed contracts to validate and verify contractual information to enter into the contract database system
•    Ensure that all contracts align with internal audit and other compliance requirements
•    Ensure that all contract files are current, accurate, and up to date
•    Educate Sales and other internal stakeholders on key business points, the contracting process, and how to navigate through the contracting process
•    Work with business unit functions globally to ensure the terms and conditions of the Customer contracts are understood by all relevant members of the team
•    Some travel will be required

Required Experience:
  • Due to ITAR restrictions, US citizenship or permanent residency is required to apply for this position
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or other similar area of study 
  • Juris doctorate from an accredited law school is a requirement of the post.
  • three or more years of relevant work experience including proven experience creating moderately complex customer contracts
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, and/or government contracts is highly preferred
  • Experience in Marine, Oil and Gas is desirable
  • Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Supplements desirable
  • Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) desirable
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
