Job Overview
The Contract Pricing Analyst position is challenging and highly visible role within the ADM Organization. As a Contract Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for driving quotes for long-term agreements through an established quoting process as well as maintaining existing price agreements within your assignment. Your account assignments will be aligned with our Sales Organization and may include a combination of global responsibility for key accounts and sales region responsibility for smaller accounts. Through the quoting process you’ll need to understand each business opportunity and develop pricing strategies together with the Sales, Product Management, and Product Pricing. You will be exposed to all ADM product families as well as other product families outside the ADM business unit. The role also requires a strong aptitude for working with large and complex data sets and leveraging advanced analytical and programming tools to improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, and decision‑making. The Contract Pricing Analyst will routinely use automation, database querying, and data modeling techniques to support quoting, agreement maintenance, and performance analysis.
- Driving quotes for long-term agreements through the quoting process.
- Working with Sales, Product Management, and Product Pricing to develop quoting strategies for each business opportunity.
- Setting up new price agreements based on awards from quoting as well as maintaining existing pricing agreements.
- Utilizing advanced data analysis and programming tools (e.g., SQL, Excel VBA, Python) to analyze pricing data, margins, and agreement performance.
- Developing and maintaining automated tools, models, and reports to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the quoting and contract management processes.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and process automation.
- Determine historical and forward‑looking price impacts on sales and margin performance.
Systems, Process & Innovation
- Utilize TE pricing and data systems (e.g., SAP, pricing platforms, BI tools) to deliver insights and support continuous improvement.
- Serve as a pricing system and analytics subject matter expert, including configuration, data integrity, and reporting.
- Explore and adopt advanced analytics, automation, and AI / machine learning capabilities to improve pricing effectiveness and efficiency.
What your background should look like:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required.
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related analytical roles.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Exceptional organization skill and detail oriented
- Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and strong ability to build relationships and credibility quickly across functions and levels within the business unit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced analytical and technical skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA/macros).
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
- Ability to work with large datasets, databases, and analytical tools to translate data into actionable business insights.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,900 - $86,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
