Business Development Specialist - REMOTE

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Business Development Teams identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. They identify markets and determine the feasibility of business and product development. Our Teams perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities, develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.

We are currently looking for an energetic Business Development Specialist to join our Appliance organization. He/she will help to drive our growth by attracting new clients and developing business strategies and pitches. The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized, and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales, product management, or strategic marketing is strongly desirable, together with experience in Channel/Distribution.

The Business development specialist will help to drive sales and business growth by analyzing and identifying market opportunities, translating those to solutions include both are current and potential future products, attracting new clients and conducting market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects and identifying opportunities. He/she will work with various departments and will report to EMEA Head of Business Development.
Responsibilities 
•    Understand the capabilities of our products and technologies and align them with application requirements.
•    Identify and understand current and future customer needs and opportunities to introduce and sell products and solutions to the customer. Promote TE APL technologies and product portfolio with the customer and drive projects.
•    Conducting market research/analysis and identifying potential new clients or vertical markets for existing product portfolio and new product requirements for existing markets
•    Proactively address open customer issues, including quality issues, until appropriate closure.
•    Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships, with special focus on Distribution partners
•    Generating new projects and initiatives to accomplish above targets
•    Maintaining client information in the CRM database.
•    Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies, with special interactions with Product management and Sales tams
•    Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
•    Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
•    Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
•    Identify new business opportunities and partners.
•    Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or engineering.
•    Strong preference for candidates with experience in Distribution channel.
•    2 - 4 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field (strategic marketing) preferred.
•    Good market understanding and technical background preferred
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory).
•    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
•    Strong organization and project management skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
•    Mobility: Flexibility in working days, as well as domestic and international travelling.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $64,600.00 - $97,000.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
