Job Overview

The Manager - Digital & AI Continuous Improvement (m/f/d) is the architect and driving force behind the digital and AI transformation within QCI AUT EMIA. This role defines, builds, and executes a clear Digital & AI strategy aligned with the Q AUT EMIA strategy, in close collaboration with EMIA and Global stakeholders. With a strong continuous improvement, digital, and innovation mindset, the role owns and drives end‑to‑end quality dashboards, develops and scales digital automation solutions, and leads identified AI quality initiatives across Q AUT EMIA - because Every Improvement Counts, and the Future is Digital.

Job Requirements

  • Leads and shapes strategic Digital and AI initiatives at regional level, fully aligned with the Q EMIA X‑Matrix to support Q EMIA Widely Important Goals (Total CPS, Total CoPQ, Customer Satisfaction) in line with the Q AUT EMIA Strategy
  • Owns and drives the strategic QCI AUT EMIA pillar “Quality Digitalization & AI”, setting direction and ensuring sustainable impact
  • Develops, drives, and executes a robust Digital & AI strategy roadmap within QCI AUT EMIA, translating strategy into measurable business outcomes for Q AUT EMIA
  • Identifies and prioritizes high‑value Digital and AI improvement opportunities through close collaboration with key Quality stakeholders across the region
  • Leads structured AI workshops, including application of the Kendall Framework methodology, ensuring clear project charters, defined use cases, and successful AI roadmap execution
  • Ensures transparent performance tracking and reporting of digital solutions, AI initiatives, and realized savings to EMIA management and key stakeholders
  • Drives cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with Quality, Operations, Digital/IT and Data teams to co‑develop scalable and sustainable AI solutions
  • Partners closely with the ADITRAC team to lead, drive, and execute key digital solutions and applications across Q AUT EMIA
  • Collaborates with IT Business Analysts to design and deploy impactful digital dashboards supporting Quality performance and decision‑making across Q AUT EMIA (PowerBi Dashboards, …)
  • Acts as a strong partner to EMIA Quality and Global Quality teams, ensuring alignment and reusability of Digital and AI initiatives applicable to the EMIA region
  • Builds digital and AI capabilities within Quality, providing targeted training and coaching to upskill teams and embed a data‑ and AI‑driven mindset

What your background should look like

  • Engineer with university degree (Bachelor/Master) (data science preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in project management related to development and deploying AI, data, or digital solutions within an industrial environment (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, electronics)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with quality, engineering, operations, or IT teams to deliver business-impacting solution
  • Excellent project management skills in digital development environment
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with data architecture, model evaluation, and AI lifecycle best practices
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as PowerAPPs, PowerBI,  etc.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead complex, cross-functional digital initiatives
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Business-fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Independent, self-directed, and accountable working style
  • Strategic mindset with proven ability to design, build, and execute digital & AI strategies
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively across functions and hierarchy levels
