Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Total Rewards teams develop, implement and evaluate Total Rewards programs, tools and initiatives (e.g., wage and salary administration, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluation, global mobility, executive compensation and health, life and retirement benefits) in the context of TE's internal and external environment to attract, retain and motivate employees.

Position Overview:

Reporting to Sr Manager Total rewards for the Region, this position designs, produces and develops compensation and benefits analysis aligned to the global total rewards strategy and tailored to the local needs of our customers and clients in the assigned geographical area. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Consult to the Businesses/Country
• Understand top talent in country(s), key roles and strategic workforce plans to produce self-expressed compensation & benefits analysis as needed. 
• Tier 1 resource to:
o  Consult on compensation and benefits issues in the country(s) according to predefined policies and guidelines including those related to talent acquisition/ hiring decisions.
o Advisory resource to provide analysis using available tools on acquisitions/ due diligence and integration in the country(s).
o Advise, train and provide data, analysis and tools on total rewards philosophy and programs to HR and management in the country(s).
Country Programs
• Derived from deep understanding in country C&B current practices and country/ sub country local Markets, Identify both competitive and cost effective improvement  solutions towards harmonization.
• Support analysis related to local variable pay plans, performance-based incentive plans, review and consolidation of participation and results in collaboration with Corporate.
• Produce impact analysis related to local compensation/benefits programs or policies in coordination with the Total Rewards Innovation Center and country, follow up to legal, compliance, and tax risk implications associated with benefits design and administration.
• Tier 1 resource in for C&B training delivery.
• Produce auditing reports to ensure statutory/policy compliance in coordination with local country HR.

Market Intelligence / Market Analysis
• Supports global compensation market intelligence including:  survey participation, analysis, vendor relationships, budgeting and maintenance of market data tool..
• Tier 1 resource for job evaluation content and recommendations for band, level, title and/or pay based on analysis of duties, internal equity and market competitiveness for day to day scenarios.
• Produce content analysis to validate appropriate local surveys for direct labor.
• Compares available surveys to identify data quality issues, strengths and opportunities tin choosing appropriate surveys to ensure the best available survey library. Validate approach to global and local market matching in global database.
• Based on predefined guidelines, conducts specialized analysis on market and internal compensation and benefits practices and metrics such as monetary recognition programs, incentive compensation, etc.
• Collects intelligence on market and economic trends, produces analysis and recommendations to adjust market values, salary ranges, hiring rates, geographic differentials, salary increase budgets and individual rates, as requested.
• Partners with other global solutions rewards team to maintain total rewards inventory for selected country(s).
Corporate Programs
• Assist in implementation and roll out of corporate programs.
• Provide local input for the on topics related to the global HRIS system and compensation planning in partnership with Global Compensation and HR Technology.
• In coordination with Global Compensation team, supports and provides predefined   tools to HR/management for employees not included in compensation planning tool. Participate in or total rewards projects as needed.
 Job Requirements:
• 5+ years demonstrated compensation and benefits analysis,consulting/Matrix Organizations working experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze statistical data and develop recommendations for presentation to leadership.
• Excel/ Access/Power point advanced user.
