Job Overview
As a Maintenance Mechanic IV, you’ll be a key technical leader on our maintenance team keeping our production equipment running at peak performance and helping us build a safer, more connected world.

What You’ll Do:
In this senior‑level role, you will take ownership of critical maintenance activities across the facility, including:
- Performing advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, CNC, and automation systems.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems to keep production climate‑controlled and compliant.
- Conducting forklift maintenance and ensuring equipment safety standards are met.
- Supporting building/facility upkeep, including plumbing, lighting, and structural repairs.
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Keeping accurate maintenance documentation and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partnering with the EHS team on safety projects and inspections.
- Operating tools, lifts, and equipment safely while maintaining a clean, organized, 5S‑ready workspace.
- Leading or contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands‑on skills with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, CNC equipment, HVAC, and automation components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine diagrams.
- Experience troubleshooting machine controls, automation systems, and facility support equipment.
- Forklift maintenance experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Computer literacy for completing maintenance logs and reporting.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and move throughout the facility as needed
- Comfortable working around machinery, varying temperatures, and noise levels

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,200 – $99,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
