At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as a Co-Op in the Global Technology Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
This is a 1st shift position in the TE Connectivity EPICenter.
The Co-op technician will work with and be trained by qualified EPICenter technicians to perform various machining, fitting and assembly operations to construct prototype dies, molds, assembly tooling, gauges, and other tools to prove out engineering concepts and produce sample products. Complete all necessary safety training, read and understand all applicable standard operating procedures prior to operating any machines under the presence and guidance of a qualified technician/supervisor.
Responsibilities

- Learn basic safety and operating procedures on some of the following:
- Basic Programing and operating CNC machines
- Basic Tool and Die making
- Able to use inspection equipment such as, but not limited to calipers, micrometers, pin gages, gage blocks or vision systems.
- vertical milling machine
- lathe
- surface grinder
- horizontal and vertical band saw
- water jet
- inspection/vision system
- hand tools such as but not limited to hand files, Allen wrenches, pliers, hammers screw drivers, box wrenches.
- Corded or battery powered drills or cutting tools.
- Basic computer skills: email, Word, Excel, time recording
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Preferably have prior internship or co-op experience or have completed a major project
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $15.00 – 20.91/Hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
