Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release. We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst for our Mansfield, OH location
The Quality Control Analyst (QCA) ensures product and / or product components comply with product specifications and quality standards. Confirms tests and inspects products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release. Collaboration internally and with customers to resolve requests that arise including but not limited to Root cause, corrective action, 8D Reports, 5Y methodology. Collaboration with suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), to resolve discrepancies that may arise, and complete the return of material process related to said discrepancies.

Responsibilities
• The responsibility of the Quality Analyst II will provide production support, customer support, supplier support.
• Supports production with discrepancy parts that rise. Follow through with investigation, Root cause and corrective action, Material review Board (close loop process).
• Develops, implements, and maintains quality control systems and standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products, ensuring finished products conform to government and company standards and satisfy good manufacturing practices regulations.
• Runs routine internal and requested data analysis through spreadsheets, charting, and pareto analysis. Focusing on internal scrap, turn backs, and customer rejections/requests
• Conducts routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items and finished product according to established operating procedures, calibrating, and maintaining lab and analytical equipment.
• Documents test procedures that may include stability program testing and formulation studies for compliance to specifications and prepares investigations, summaries, and reports of abnormalities.
• Completes containment and corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications, customer specifications (request) and develops testing and analysis methods and procedures in accordance with established guidelines and revises and updates standard operating procedures as needed.
• Provides technical support to the quality assurance and quality engineering functions by conducting inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications, including customer and vendor specifications determining unstated or hidden dimensions from a blueprint and/or mechanical and electrical measuring tools.
• Uses magnifiers. electronic instruments. Calipers, micrometers, snap gauges and special fixtures and verify calibration against standards.
• Develops and assesses alternative methods to achieve uniform quality including identifying process variables.
• Collaborates with supplier for rejected material and (SQE), follow through with RMAs.
• Sorts materials for nonconformance during containment.
• Owns the Document Control Process (Document updates, tracking, release)
What your background should look like
• 3+ years of experience in Quality
• Union Experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to read blueprints
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), & preferred statistical software. Must know how to complete data analysis (charts, graphs, Pareto’s)
• Communication with customer/supplier/auditors experience
• Demonstrated expertise in quality tools, practices and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001
• SAP Software knowledge is a plus but not required
• Process control knowledge and implementation experience (PFMEA. SPC, CPK, Gage R & R, Control Plans, etc.).
• Successfully worked in a team environment aiding various departments requiring consistent quality assurance systems to succeed
• Ability to influence and drive cross functional teamwork, ability to work well with internal and external customers/suppliers, and with other cultures
• Experience in complying with customer, statutory and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to direct identification of root cause, drive improvement actions and resolve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work outside normal working hours to accommodate task completion
• Knowledge of and experience in problem solving tools such as 8D, 5 whys and fishbone analysis
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of quality tools including, but not limited to, APQP,
• FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5W problem solving tools, PPAP and FAI’s.
• Self-Starter, driven to implement change and improvements for the vision of the company, must be organized.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,400k - 107,100k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
