Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The description below covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other work assignments not mentioned, the inclusion of which would be in conformity with the requirements assigned to this job, or jobs of lesser requirements.

  • Performs diversified soldering operation, including, but not limited to, torch and iron soldering.

  • Perform diversified assembly on a variety of products. This involves a considerable number of parts, close tolerances, and interrelated factors. Requires use of hand and power tools

  • Perform potting and encapsulation operations.

  • Must be able to read blueprints and utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications.

  • Be able to read schematics.

  • Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility. Train other employees as needed.

  • Operate all equipment required to assemble a variety of products.

  • Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch up paint etc. and perform packing and shipping duties.

What your background should look like:

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Completed ESD training per OP 1707, solder certification per OP 1701.
  • 3 years of related manufacturing Soldering experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Read Blueprint and schematics.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $39,083.20 – $40,248 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
