Job Overview

The Master Scheduler for the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine (AD&M) Relay Team will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the production schedule to support efficient supply chain and manufacturing operations. This role ensures customer demands are met while balancing inventory levels, capacity constraints, and operational efficiency. The Master Scheduler will work cross-functionally with supply chain, production, engineering, and customer service to drive on-time delivery and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive master production schedule (MPS) that aligns with demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory strategies.
  • Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, and production teams to ensure alignment of supply with business needs.
  • Level-loading of supply plans to ensure timely stock availability.
  • Generate and review plant capacity data.
  • Analyze capacity constraints, material availability, and production efficiencies to adjust schedules proactively.
  • Monitor and report key scheduling metrics, such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations leadership to mitigate risks related to material shortages, production bottlenecks, and unforeseen demand fluctuations.
  • Utilize SAP ERP system to manage and communicate scheduling updates effectively.
  • Participate in SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) meetings, providing input on production capacity and scheduling feasibility.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy, reduce lead times, inventory management, and improve service levels.
  • Supervise shipping personnel and monitor shipments to the customers.

What your background should look like:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP system for planning and scheduling.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and SIOP processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with teams at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $83,700 – 125,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
