The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (AD&M) business unit of TE is part of the Industrial Solutions segment -- a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions that are used for applications in extreme and harsh environments. Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include engineering prototype kit management, quoting, ordering, customer interfacing of change proposals, and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain assembly documentation, finalize engineering change orders, along with ensuring drafting is completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and with a team-based environment.


  • Quoting/Ordering of engineering prototype components while negotiating best price
  • Creation of engineering kit orders
  • Engineering change management by recording, notify and distribute
  • Finalizing engineering change requests and orders
  • Customer interfacing of proposed engineering changes
  • Assembly work instruction management
  • Provide and create part number, document number, process new drawing, new document into database.  Distribute control copy document to related department and file hard copy.
  • Creation/Maintenance of Bills of Materials within database
  • Support all departments internal query of part, drawing and document
  • Answering phone and routing calls to appropriate company personnel
  • Maintain customer configuration management 
  • Manufacturing Release Packages
    • Release of approved drawings and documents for manufacturing in a timely fashion
  • Document Control
    • Maintain and operate document control system
  • Work in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures


  • (Minimum) High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of filing systems and document control systems a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat (PDF's), database & data management software
  • Knowledge of SAP and PDM Windchill a plus
