SUPPLY CHAIN SUPPORT I
About the Position:
The trainee will assist the PH Supply Chain Team in developing and enhancing Materials Planning and Inventory Management, as well as documenting work instructions and supply chain planning processes.
Exposure to Planning strategy and end to end supply chain process of TE will make the trainee an efficient Supply Chain contributor in the future
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support PH Supply Chain Planners on designing and improving process flows, planning activities and digitization initiatives
- Assist in enhancing and developing projects managed by the planners
- Utilize programming skills to come up with automated processes to improve daily planning activities
- Stay up to date of process and technology trend in and outside of TE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fresh graduate of any Engineering course from reputable universities
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office applications and usage
- Be data savvy – basic knowledge using data and analytics tools to build business process flows and use cases
- Effective communication and high interpersonal skills
- Willing to be trained and self-motivated
- Willing to be assigned in Batangas
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
