Job Requirements

  • Develop EMC filters and magnetic components for medium to large-scale projects
  • Design schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation throughout all project phases
  • Use simulation and engineering tools (e.g., LTspice, Ansys, Altium Designer, internal tools) to optimize designs
  • Support prototype development and define product specifications 
  • Perform and analyze testing (electrical, high voltage, thermal, environmental, and EMC) 
  • Compare simulation results with lab measurements to improve design accuracy 
  • Participate in product design reviews and provide technical expertise 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve technical product issues
  • Prepare technical documentation (e.g., test plans, reports, datasheets)
  • Communicate technical topics with project managers, internal stakeholders, and customers 

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in R&D or product development
  • Knowledge of EMC design, filter design, and magnetic components (e.g., chokes, inductors)
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, Ansys) and CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Solid understanding of PCB/PCBA design and EMC fundamentals
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC 60939-3, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 60664-1)
  • Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation (RLC, insertion loss, high voltage, EMC)
  • Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) guidelines and development processes
  • Structured and analytical working style; experience with SAP or PDM systems is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German
