Job Overview
The Global Compliance Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for deploying company-wide initiatives to support TE Connectivity business units (“TE”) with all aspects of data and analytics for product environmental compliance. This role involves monitoring and analyzing data trends, creating impactful reports and metrics, and maintaining the integrity and quality of the data-driven aspects of product environmental compliance through continuous improvement activities. The Global Compliance Data & Analytics Manager is required to understand the business impact of new or changing data needs and proactively develop processes, systems, and tools to ensure the company can efficiently track, analyze, and report on environmental compliance metrics and risk.
The Global Compliance Data & Analytics Manager is a member of the Corporate Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) team and reports to the Global Director of Product Environmental Compliance. This role works closely with Regulatory Subject Matter Experts, as well as Business Unit Compliance Leads, TE Information Systems (TEIS), Procurement, Legal, BU Sustainability Managers, and other internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain world-class data management and reporting systems. The position requires an experienced professional with a broad understanding of data analytics, global environmental compliance trends, and a demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive data management tools.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with TE stakeholders from TEIS, Procurement, Legal, Sustainability, EH&S and Business Unit Engineering and Compliance leaders to develop and maintain cohesive data and analytics programs that support product compliance and customer expectations.
• Design and test product environmental compliance metrics and create visuals/reports for all segments and business units.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement activities that proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks through enhanced data analytics.
• Lead and support automation projects and ensure efficient integration of tools for management of large data sets (such as regulatory substance lists) or regulatory report generation.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy policies, specifications, processes, and procedures to support robust data-driven product environmental compliance.
• Create and deploy training on analytics and data reporting tools.
• Conduct data quality checks, review report usage and review criteria for relevance and accuracy of parts and components data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and optimize reporting pages on internal website, ensuring up-to-date information and resources are available to TE Business Units.
• Investigate and respond to BU enquiries regarding reporting, metrics, or workflow issues, offering prompt resolutions.

What your background should look like:
• University degree in Data Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
• + 5 years of progressive experience in global compliance data analytics, supporting business units and delivering impactful data solutions.
• Experienced in global product environmental compliance regulations and data management systems, with a strong understanding of industry-relevant data systems like Compliance Map, Assent, IMDS, CDX, as well as internal PEC data management systems.
• Expertise in designing and deploying data-driven metrics and reporting dashboards to track compliance metrics, performance and risk (e.g. using Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with automation projects (e.g. Python coding) and system optimization to support compliance reporting.
• Effective communication skills for translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
• A results-oriented, collaborative, and flexible mindset with demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in data quality and governance, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of analytics for compliance purposes.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across various global teams.
• This position may require travel based on project and customer demand.
