Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice. They are responsible for product development, and qualification from market definition through production and release; assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. They create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics and systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing and measurement, and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical and electronic components, products, and their integration into systems.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Le Technicien Bureau d’Études Ferroviaire a pour missions principales :

- Assurer la vie de produit des connecteurs en production (gestion de l’obsolescence, mise à jour documentaire, mise en conformité suite à un SAV ou aux contraintes environnementales, …)

- Dans le cadre de projet de développement, en support au titulaire de celui-ci, établir, diffuser les plans, nomenclatures et documents annexes nécessaires pour les maquettes, prototypes et produits, ainsi que la documentation nécessaires à la mise en oeuvre des produits par l’utilisateur.

- Garantir la fonctionnalité des produits (remontages de cotes, dimensionnement électriques, résistance mécanique, essais de conception…)

- Travailler en partenariat avec le service Méthodes pour la définition des outillages et l’industrialisation du produit.

- Analyser et expertiser les défaillances sur connecteur à la suite d’un essai ou sur un SAV et proposer les solutions les plus adaptées.

- Mettre en place des séquences d’essai en collaboration avec le Laboratoire, analyser les résultats et participer à l’élaboration et la validation des comptes rendus

- Assurer un support technique envers les services Achats, Laboratoire, Usinage, Assemblage…

- Améliorer les processus du bureau d’études ferroviaire

Le Technicien Bureau d’Études Ferroviaire peut également, suivant son expérience et la charge du service :

- Développer des connexions électriques destinées au marché ferroviaire en collaboration avec le responsable produit assurant le lien avec la demande client ou marché

- Participer à l’analyse des normes produits/métiers et des cahiers des charges client

- Participer à l’élaboration de la solution technique de l’avant-projet, aux revues internes de conception, à la mise au point du produit

- Être amener à se déplacer en clientèle ou chez un fournisseur, en France ou à l’étranger
