Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with industrial maintenance tasks including plumbing, welding, and electrical troubleshooting.  A technical degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary.  Must be capable of performing standard wiring operations to provide power source to equipment.  The job will require the ability to use a variety of electrical measuring instruments such as a voltmeter, ohm-meter, and amp meter and various other checking and measuring devices.  Qualified candidates will work from verbal instructions, blueprints, and machine manuals.  As required, must be able to operate commonly used machine shop equipment and hand tools to repair and fabricate new parts.  Need to possess good physical dexterity and have the ability to perform manual tasks and body movements including climbing, lifting, reaching, stooping, and bending.  Will be required to work around chemicals after sufficient training and supply own hand tools.
