Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

Responsibility:

• Ensures and monitors safety in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with established company, environmental and government regulations

• Participate in the implementation of the organization’s EHS programs and support the delivery of the organization’s EHS goals and strategy.

• Develop, implement, review environmental and working environment monitoring, measurement & control program, and action plans to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and requirements.

• Take charge of environmental assessments and review related operation process.

• Communicate with all levels in the organization on EHS to engage with, influence, and motivate the Plant Manager, managers, supervisors and employees.  Drive EHS initiatives to achieve the organization’s goals and strategy and promote and raise the awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislative or best practices.

• Identify and resolve environmental problems as well as implement necessary changes.

• Inspect, audit, analyses, report and dialogue the environmental performances to internal and external.

• Support the implementation of safety, health and environmental practices to ensure alignment to

• Thailand’s laws, IATF requirements and EHS requirements.                    

• Create and deliver training programs to ensure those involved in maintaining the organization’s environmental programs are aware of their responsibilities and how to discharge them. Provide training for all employees in support of achieving engagement in environment.

• Coordinate and collaborate with Manager-EHS to support the safety risk control measures.

• Waste management.

 

Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent level of qualification in safety, health, or an environmental discipline

• An EH&S post graduate qualification may be substituted for EH&S competence gained through relevant and sufficient training and experience in excess of 1+ years.

• Minimum 1+ years of EH&S experience required (Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing role preferred)

• Demonstrated communication, collaboration and team working skills preferred

• Demonstrated ability in conducting audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS throughout a Site

• Ability to develop of best practice safety & environment procedures

• Good language skill in English (writing, reading and speaking)

• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001

• Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

• Good knowledge of Occupational safety, health and environmental act, related laws and regulations.

• Positive attitude person to deal with employee, and demonstrated communication, collaboration and team building skills preferred

• Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving skills
