Job Overview
The Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering (Cable Assembly) leads a team of engineers to support production efficiency, new product development, and continuous improvement. The role manages workflow, allocates resources, provides technical guidance, drives engineering projects, and ensures manufacturing processes meet performance and cost‑saving targets. It also supports tooling, automation solutions, pilot runs, and overall engineering readiness for production.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in manufacturing or technical support in related industries.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
- Solid project management and problem‑solving skills.
- ERP/MRP understanding (BOM, Routing, PPS).
- Knowledge of CI methods: FMEA, CIP, 5S, Six Sigma, Poka‑Yoke, 7 Wastes.
- Good English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
- Team leadership, coaching, and workflow management.

- Strong hands‑on experience supporting manufacturing engineering in high‑mix or cable‑assembly environments.
- Proven success leading teams, allocating resources, and driving operational improvements.
- Experience implementing pilot runs, developing tooling/fixtures, and supporting automation.
- Capable of analyzing process issues, initiating improvements, and supporting new project development.
- Confident coordinating with cross‑functional teams and providing technical direction to engineers.
