Job Overview
The Supervisor II – Production (Shift Rotation) is responsible for executing the day–night production plan, ensuring output meets takt time, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role leads shift operations, coaches shift/line leaders, enforces SOP/SWI adherence, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The position also collaborates closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve constraints and support stable ramp readiness.
Job Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean methodology.
- Solid problem-solving capability, including containment → root/potential cause analysis → action closure.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (BOM, routing, PPS) for plan vs. actual coordination.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (FMEA, CIP, 5S, Six Sigma, 7 wastes, Poka-Yoke).
- Ability to work under schedule pressure, deadlines, and ramp-up environments.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain).
Main Responsibilities
- Execute production plans for both day and night shifts; run Tier-1 meetings and manage escalations.
- Enforce SOP/SWI, standard work, and ensure robust shift handover.
- Coach shift leaders and line leaders; verify training and skill coverage.
- Drive CI initiatives to improve quality, changeover time, and process stability.
- Respond to Andon signals, ensure containment, and drive recovery actions.
- Maintain safety, 5S, and quality-at-source disciplines.
- Collect and analyze shift performance data; develop improvement plans and ensure closure.
- Support readiness for production ramp-up and drive MOM standardization.

Education & General Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production leadership, or technical manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts (day–night).
- Strong English communication for reporting and escalation.
