Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and NPI/Operations teams to support the Industrial Cable and Cable Assembly business.
• Participate in new product development and sustaining engineering activities for industrial cables and cable assemblies, translating customer requirements into internal technical diagrams, drawings, and specifications.Serve as a technical consultant for a range of product development, design, and sustaining engineering projects, both internally and externally.
• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering projects, collaborating with Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet customer expectations, timelines, and financial objectives.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and Product Development Engineers for connectors and bulk cable products.
• Partner with NPI/Operations and Supply Chain teams to successfully launch new cable assembly products within established timelines.
• Provide support for product training, sample builds, and customer service activities as needed.Prepare and maintain technical reports and engineering documentation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cable and cable assembly product design, development, and customization for industrial applications.
• Possess knowledge of industrial low-, medium-, and high-voltage cables, as well as data and power cable technologies.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industrial connector products, including TE Connectivity solutions and competitor offerings.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development.
• Proven experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Hands-on experience in cable and cable assembly design, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, data analysis, and product improvement skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working closely with manufacturing/factory teams.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese.(Intermediate level)
