Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer to lead process development initiatives within our Automotive department. This role is pivotal in ensuring that manufacturing processes meet project specifications, deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. You will play a key role in optimizing product and process consistency to achieve performance, quality, and cost targets. 

Job Requirements

• Define process concepts based on customer requirements
• Develop detailed manufacturing processes and equipment specifications
• Support supplier selection and manage equipment validation and buy-off
• Lead process qualification and ensure successful run-at-rate
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support PPAP submissions and facilitate handover to mass production

What your background should look like

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automated production and process development
• Familiarity with ISO standards
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards (IATF, VDA) is a plu

• Technical Skills:
  • Statistical concepts (e.g., Gaussian distribution, standard deviation, capability)
  • Process concepts (e.g., capacity, takt time)
  • Electromechanical domain knowledge (e.g., drawings, GD&T)
  • Product design understanding (plastic and metal parts)
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Cultural sensitivity and a strong sense of ownership
