Job Description: 

Job Overview

Continuous Quality Improvement in meeting the Department objective, in term of customer complaints, internal defect cost, nonconformity from QMS internal audit, QMS certify body audit and product safety audit.

Job Requirements

  • Monitoring the outputs of the quality assurance process and associated data.
  • Lead investigations of product complaints and breakdowns. Perform any necessary analytical work and associated reporting as needed. Conduct root cause investigation to identify and correct issue to determine corrective and preventative action.
  • Ensure timely response and follow up on non-conformitiesLeading, motivate and facilitate to engage plant QAQC inspectors, technicians and other staff in team.
  • Identify quality performance, trends and corrective action by coordinating with internal function to ensures compliance to specified quality requirements by leading in-house audit to ensure process control according to defined performing. - Lead regulatory, 3rd party audit, customer audits, product safety audit (i.e. UL, VDE, CSA, CCC&CQC etc.) and internal
    audits.
  • Manage the overall process of FRs, 8Ds and ECRs handling.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to drive improvement in quality.
  • Lead in-house & customers Quality meetings.
  • Ensure all quality requirement and customer expectation standards are met.
  • Develop inspection procedure raw material, in-process and finished product for acceptance and nonconformity product management.
  • Supervise and control on Incoming Inspection Standard, Control Plan, Quality Work Instruction, and other quality document.
  • Coordinate and support for new program development on quality related issues, include 5S, Supervise on problem solving and improve product.
  • Ensure quality documentation and required records are maintained and retained as required.
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial) or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in Electrical, Electronics or Automotive field with 2 years in a leadership role - Knowledge and ability to be a consultant of Corrective action &
  • Preventive action program base on 8D methodology.
  • Experience in Customer Claim, New Model preparation (PPAP) will be advantage.
  • Strong knowledge in basic management of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO45001
  • Knowledge IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and ISO/IEC17025 will be advantage.
  • Certified Internal Auditor is a strong advantage as minimum requirement of ISO9001
  • Good command of English both written and spoken.
  • Good interpersonal skill, teamwork, and excellent leadership skill.
