Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products

  • Support planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

  • Create and maintain demand/supply of semi-product

  • Follow up and work with Purchasers for the schedule of missing raw materials

  • Maintain and update products’s delivery plan in SAP

  • Follow up products shipment of IC (Intercompany)

  • Coordinate with Packing & Shipping Dept to ensure completed product shipment 

  • Follow up and work with Production Dept. for the products delivery confirmation

  • Support Production & Shipping Dept for the special requirement from customer

  • Other tasks may be assigned by the Superior

Qualification:

  • Diploma certificate or Bachelor degree in any related field

  • Experience as production planner is advantage

  • Some knowledge of production planning and quality control principles will be advantage

  • Fast learning

  • Attentive to work and detail

  • Having sense of urgency and ability to perform well under pressure

  • Able to work overtime

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and computer skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Understand and can communicate in English

  • Able to work 6 days/week
