Job Overview

Responsible for leading all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance at both corporate and legal entity levels. Review and interpret financial and budgetary reports, oversee the development of financial systems, and prepare annual forecasts. Design and implement policies and procedures, analyze cost variances, and provide strategic advice on construction and financial improvement plans. Collaborate closely with plant cross-functional teams, BU Finance, PM Finance, and the Footprint team to drive operational performance and financial excellence. Manage key functions such as payables, credit, treasury, and ensure alignment with reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Establish and ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance standards across financial operations.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with business units, corporate functions, and regional FSC to meet project goals and resolve issues.
  • Analyze financial data, recommend performance improvements, and monitor organizational risk, serving as a key advisor to senior management.
  • Maintain robust internal controls for tax, statutory accounting, and finance processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Consolidate and analyze actuals and forecasts, providing insights on gross margin, productivity, and inventory performance.
  • Lead analysis and reporting on inventory risk, MV variances, PPV, standards, and subcontracts; oversee annual re-costing and stocktaking.
  • Review and approve Capital Equipment Requests (CER); support financial validation and tracking of investments and automation projects.
  • Monitor and forecast material and conversion costs, identifying opportunities for financial improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with operations leaders to support transformation initiatives with sound financial analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and promote best-in-class cost visibility, reporting, and decision-making support.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in plant controlling and manufacturing finance
  • 5 years of experience leading teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and people management skills
  • Strong business acumen with deep understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing and operations.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex financial analysis into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management.
  • Hands-on and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective collaborator and influencer across plant teams, BU leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Thai GAAP; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in Thai and English for professional communication
  • Mandarin proficiency is preferred but not required.
